~10–14 €
The Silberra Pan 50 is a panchromatic ISO 50 B&W film from Silberra (Russia), made by TASPIR on a polyester base. Ultra-fine grain, very high acutance, natural contrast. The slowest film in Silberra's PAN line. Ideal for studio portraits and precision architecture needing maximum resolution.
Atouts
+ Ultra-fine grain — maximum resolution in 35mm
+ Polyester base — perfect flatness and stability
Limites
− ISO 50 — a tripod or fast lenses needed
− Limited availability in France
− Polyester base — check camera compatibility
Silberra offers the Pan 50 as their absolute precision film. Its polyester base guarantees perfect flatness during development and scanning. Enlarged to A3+, 35mm Pan 50 negatives surprise with their lack of visible grain — a result hard to achieve with any other 35mm film.
