An orthopanchromatic ISO 50 B&W film — an intermediate film in the CHS line, derived from the Efke KB 50 emulsions. Very fine grain, orthopanchromatic, moderate latitude. A precursor to the still-produced CHS 50 II.

Adox CHS 50 is the direct ancestor of the CHS 50 II — the same Efke/Adox emulsion family but a slightly different formula. Purists say the original CHS 50 had a slightly softer look than the II. Discontinued in 2012 when Efke's Croatian plant closed.
