An orthopanchromatic ISO 20 B&W film — the first version of Adox's CMS 20, based on an Agfa-Gevaert microfilm emulsion. Extreme resolution of ~600 lp/mm, virtually invisible grain. Requires the Adotech CMS developer (different from the II). A precursor to the CMS 20 II.

The original CMS 20 requires the Adotech CMS (old formula), incompatible with the Adotech II used for the CMS 20 II — an important technical distinction for developers with stock of both generations. Some photographers prefer the slightly different look of the original version.
