expired stock
An orthopanchromatic ISO 25 B&W film — the slowest film in Adox's CHS line, derived from the Efke KB 25 emulsions. Ultra-fine grain, spectral sensitivity slightly reduced in red (orthopanchromatic), excellent resolution. A very thin triacetate base.
Atouts
+ Ultra-fine grain — exceptional resolution
+ Orthopanchromatic — dramatic skies with no filter
+ A very thin triacetate base
Limites
− Discontinued
− ISO 25 — plenty of light needed
− A fragile emulsion — max 20°C
Adox CHS 25 is one of the rare modern orthopanchromatic photographic films — its reduced red sensitivity gives skies a dramatic rendering with no yellow filter. Descended from the long tradition of Efke/Adox emulsions from Yugoslavia/Croatia, considered direct heirs of the 1950s AGFA emulsions.
