The modern reference among fast T-Grain B&W films, reformulated in 2007. Considered the sharpest, finest-grain ISO 400 film on the market. Pushable to ISO 3200. Very resistant to reciprocity failure. Available in 35mm and 120.

Limites

− Narrower exposure latitude than Tri-X or HP5

Reformulated in 2007, Kodak called it the 'sharpest ISO 400 film in the world.' It's philosophically the opposite of Tri-X: T-Max is technical and precise, Tri-X is expressive and grainy. Its resistance to reciprocity failure is markedly better — a measured 10-second exposure corrects to 15 seconds on T-Max, versus 50 seconds on Tri-X.
