Arista EDU Ultra 400 is a panchromatic ISO 400 B&W film from Freestyle Photo (USA), made by Harman Technology (Ilford group). It's an Ilford HP5 Plus sold under the Arista name — strictly identical characteristics. Exceptional exposure latitude, pushable to EI 3200, compatible with all B&W developers.

Like the EDU Ultra 100, the 400 is an Ilford HP5 Plus under the Freestyle Photo brand. Widely used in American photography schools for its versatility and affordable price. On a print, regulars instantly recognize the HP5 — the Arista brand changes nothing about the emulsion.
