A panchromatic ISO 80 B&W film from ORWO (Original Wolfen), made in Wolfen, East Germany. The NP20 was an intermediate film in the ORWO line, between the NP7 (100 ASA) and faster films. Fine grain, balanced contrast. Also available in 120 (medium format). Discontinued after German reunification.

The NP20 is sometimes sold with a 120 version by specialized retailers like Retrocamera.be, making it one of the few ORWO films still accessible in medium format today. Some photographers report still having NP20 120 rolls in stock dating from 1993.
