The CatLABS X Film 80 Mk II is the second, reformulated version of the X Film 80, with a characteristic curve slightly softened in the highlights for a more versatile look. Ultra-fine grain, very high acutance, slightly less extreme contrast than the Mk I.

CatLABS launched the Mk II following community feedback on the original X Film 80 — some photographers found its contrast too high for portraits. The Mk II reformulation keeps the exceptional acutance while softening the highlight curve, making the film more versatile.
