An E-6 color slide, ISO 100 — a moderate-saturation, neutral-balance version of the Ektachrome line. T-grain, very fine grain (RMS 8), pure white, improved tonal scale. The base for the current Ektachrome E100 relaunched in 2019. Ideal for advertising, fashion, architecture, and nature. Discontinued in March 2012.

Ektachrome E100G (G for General purpose) is the emulsion that served as the base for the 2019 Ektachrome comeback. It's therefore technically the same emulsion as today's E100, slightly reformulated. It replaced the E100S and E100SW in 2003, improving on their grain and tones.
