Ektachrome 100 VS (Vivid Saturation) was Kodak's most saturated slide film — created specifically to compete with Fuji Velvia, whose hyper-saturation had become a standard in 1990s-2000s nature photography. Its 2012 discontinuation left the field open to Fuji.
