A chromogenic ISO 400 B&W film — a black-and-white film developed in C-41 chemistry. Developable at any standard C-41 lab, very fine grain for ISO 400, wide exposure latitude. Result: a B&W negative with a characteristic orange mask. A competitor to Ilford XP2 Super. Discontinued in 2014.

The BW400CN was designed to let photographers develop a B&W film at any color lab. Ilford was a partner of Fujifilm's for the XP2 technology — it's suspected the two films shared similar emulsion technology.
