FPP SUN Color 1
ISO 1 specialty ultra-fine intermediate
~12 $
An ISO 1 color film — the slowest on the market. A technical film designed for contact prints at the lab. In a manual 35mm SLR, it produces a unique color palette with altered blues and vibrant reds. Bright sun only. Manual cameras only (ISO setting impossible on automatic cameras — simulate with ISO 25 + 5 stops). Standard C-41.
Atouts
+ A unique, experimental color palette
+ Virtually no grain
+ Standard C-41
Limites
− ISO 1 — intense direct sunlight required
− Manual cameras only
− Unpredictable results
ISO 1 — 10 stops below a standard ISO 1000. The FPP SUN Color is a contact-print film repurposed for creative photography. Its look is radically different from any other color film: blues turn strange, reds vibrate. More an artistic tool than a reportage film.
