The FPP Derev Pan 400 is a panchromatic ISO 400 B&W film from the Film Photography Project (USA), based on Ukrainian Svema Foto 400 respooled into DX-coded cartridges. Moderate grain, natural contrast with the characteristic touch of Ukrainian emulsions. Compatible with standard B&W developers.

'Derev' means 'tree' in Ukrainian — a poetic reference to the nature of the Svema/Astrum emulsion. FPP Derev Pan 400 is their rebadged version of Svema Foto 400. The FPP community appreciates this film for its look, slightly different from Western films — an authentic Svema character in a DX-coded package.
