+ Among the lowest prices around
+ Available in 35mm and 120
Limites
− Pronounced grain — best results at ISO 320
− Very deep shadows
− 120 emulsion prone to scratches
− Quality varies from batch to batch
The Fomapan 400 has an extended spectral sensitivity that reaches even further into the near-IR than the 100 and 200 — which changes how colors translate to grey tones. Practitioners of Rodinal 1:100 semi-stand development are particularly fond of it.
