The absolute reference B&W T-Grain film in terms of grain and resolution. Extremely fine grain — among the finest on the market across every brand — thanks to tabular T-Grain crystals. 200 lines/mm resolution (identical to T-Max 400). Slightly higher contrast than T-Max 400, very soft and subtle tones. Developable as a reversal (positive). Compatible with T-Max, XTOL, D-76 developers. Available in 35mm, 120, and sheet film.

Limites

− Narrower latitude than FP4 or HP5 (1 stop under, 2 stops over)

T-Grain technology earned Kodak a technical Oscar for its use in motion-picture film. T-Max 100 outresolves most 35mm lenses — a lens tester often prefers it because 'it out-resolves the lenses it's testing.' It also handles reciprocity failure better than FP4: a 10-second exposure corrects to 12 seconds on T-Max 100, versus 50 seconds on Tri-X.
