Kodak Portra 160 VC

ISO 160 specialty fine all levels
~16–20 €
An ISO 160 color negative film — the Vivid Color version of Kodak's Portra line. More saturated, more contrasty colors than the NC, while keeping flattering skin tones. Prized for fashion and travel photography.
Atouts
+ VC: warmth and saturation superior to today's Portra
+ NC: absolute neutrality for studio calibration
+ Two color profiles to choose from
Limites
Slightly lower latitude than the reformulated Portra
Slightly more visible grain
Portra 160 VC (Vivid Color) was the more saturated version of the Portra 160, a competitor to Fuji Pro 160S. Like the NC, it was replaced by the unified Portra 160 in 2011, which combines the best of both versions.
