Kodak Portra 160 is a professional ISO 160 color negative film, the slowest version in Eastman Kodak's Portra range. Ultra-fine grain, natural, flattering skin tones, very generous exposure latitude. Slightly desaturated, natural colors — it doesn't saturate colors but reproduces them faithfully. Excellent tolerance to overexposure, up to +2 stops. The world reference for studio portraits and natural-light weddings.

Limites
− ISO 160 — limited in low light or with fast subjects
− Less saturated colors than Ektar — not ideal for landscapes
The Portra line launched in 1998 to replace the Vericolor III — preserving its qualities while improving grain and latitude. The 160 ISO is the slowest version, ideal for well-lit studios and outdoor weddings on sunny days. Its relative desaturation compared to Ektar is deliberate — skin tones overexposed by a stop stay natural where Ektar would blow out. Many wedding photographers expose Portra 160 at EI 100 for an even softer look.
