Fujifilm Velvia 100F
ISO 100 slide ultra-fine intermediate
expired stock
An E-6 color slide, ISO 100 — a moderate version of the Velvia, less saturated and more color-accurate than the Velvia 50. Very fine grain (RMS 8), defined contrast, corrects the Velvia 50's exaggerated yellow tones. Designed for photographers who want Velvia quality with more fidelity. Discontinued in 2012.
Atouts
+ Less saturated than Velvia 50 — more natural
+ Very fine grain (RMS 8)
+ More faithful color rendering
Limites
− Discontinued — expired stock only
− E-6 process required
− Very restricted latitude
Velvia 100F was created to answer criticism of the Velvia 50's color exaggeration. It offered a more natural look while keeping Velvia's quality and grain level — an intermediate alternative between the Velvia 50 and the Provia 100F.
