An artisanal B&W film from the FPP, adapted from a Ukrainian aerial scientific film stock. 'Derev' means 'forest' in Ukrainian. Very fine grain and high sharpness inherited from its aerial use. Clean separation of green and blue tones — ideal for foliage and skies. Thin polyester base that dries flat. Standard B&W development. Load in very low light (light piping risk).

Limites

Military and scientific aerial films are designed to identify targets from altitudes of thousands of meters — extreme resolution and sharpness. Derev Pan inherits these qualities. The FPP hand-rolls it from Ukraine, keeping alive a little-known Soviet-era photographic supply chain.
