CineStill 400D is an ISO 400 color cinema film based on Kodak Vision3 250D (5207), respooled by CineStill Film with the remjet removed and DX-coded at 400 ISO. Standard C-41 compatible. Fine grain for such an apparently high speed (true sensitivity is 250 ISO), natural daylight colors, characteristic halation. CineStill's most versatile color cinema film.

The 400D is CineStill's answer to photographers who wanted the 50D's cinema look but with more versatility in variable light. Based on the Vision3 250D (DX-coded 400 for a flattering slight overexposure), it offers the finest grain in the CineStill 400 lineup. Its 2021 release was highly anticipated by the community.
