Agfa's nearly-invisible-grain B&W film. ISO 25, an extraordinary tonal range, a slightly warm, soft rendering — very different from the cooler T-Max 100 or Delta 100. Widely used for large-format portraits and tripod-based fine-art photography. Its tonal softness and ease of development made it a favorite among darkroom printers.

Limites
− ISO 25 — only usable in bright light or on a tripod
− Not very versatile
APX 25 was so slow it was nearly unusable without a tripod, but darkroom portraitists who used it obtained prints of a softness and tonal richness that faster films couldn't approach. It was often developed in heavily diluted Rodinal (1+100) to maximize tonal range.
