The Film Washi X 100 is a panchromatic ISO 100 B&W film from Film Washi (Céline Flécheux, Tours, France), based on traditional Japanese silk paper (washi paper) coated with a photographic emulsion. A very distinctive look — visible paper texture, fine grain, high contrast. Made by hand in France in very small quantities.

Film Washi is a unique French artisanal venture — Céline Flécheux hand-coats traditional Japanese washi paper with photographic emulsions in her lab in Tours. Film Washi X is the 'all-purpose' film in the line, based on a semi-transparent silk paper that gives images a visible paper texture. A film that challenges the very definition of photographic 'film'.
