A panchromatic ISO 125 B&W film — a medium-format and 35mm film from Ansco (rebranded GAF Versapan in 1967). Fine, tight grain, moderate contrast, a wide tonal range. Prized for its resemblance to Kodak Plus-X. Made until GAF's shutdown in 1977.

The Versapan (GAF 125) was Ansco/GAF's most popular B&W film — an alternative to Kodak Plus-X at a slightly lower price. Its 'tight' grain was particularly liked. GAF's sudden closure in 1977, 30 years before digital, remains a mystery to many historians.
