An ISO 500 color negative film — GAF's last high-speed color film before the 1977 shutdown. One of the first ISO 500 color films ever sold. Characteristic pronounced grain typical of high-speed color films of the era, warm colors with a slight yellow cast from aging. Very rare.

The GAF 500 Color was revolutionary for its time — ISO 500 in color was unthinkable in the early 1970s. GAF launched it shortly before ceasing all photo activity in 1977, unable to compete with Kodak and Fuji. It's one of the last films made at Ansco's historic plant in Binghamton, New York.
