expired stock
An ISO 800 color negative film — the high-speed film in the Superia line. 4th cyan layer, Sigma nano-grain technology. Designed for zoom compacts and low-light photography. Discontinued in 36-exposure format in 2018, then entirely. A direct competitor to Kodak Ultramax 800.
Atouts
+ ISO 800 — low light without flash
+ 4th cyan layer
+ Fine grain for ISO 800
Limites
− Discontinued — expired stock only
Superia 800 survived until 2018, before being fully discontinued. By then, Fujifilm only offered Superia X-tra 400 and Superia Premium 400 (Japan). The 800's disappearance left a real gap for low-light color photography.
