A color slide film, ISO 200 — a historic American film from Ansco (rebranded GAF in 1967). A competitor to Ektachrome, faster to develop than Kodachrome. Used by NASA to film Alan Shepard's face during the Mercury flight in 1961. Colors characteristic of the 1960s-70s, with a tendency toward a warm cast over time.

Limites

Anscochrome literally traveled to space — a special version (FPC-289, ISO 200) was used by NASA to record Alan Shepard's face during his suborbital flight in May 1961, then on the Mercury and Gemini programs. It's one of the rare film stocks to have been in orbit.
