AGFAPhoto Vista Plus 200
ISO 200 color fine all levels
expired stock
An ISO 200 color negative film — one of the most popular films in Europe thanks to its very low price. Three successive emulsions: Ferrania (2005–2009), custom Fujifilm (2009–2013), then pure Fujicolor C200 (2013–2018). Contrasty, saturated colors, fine grain, a slightly warm palette. Sold notably at Poundland UK for £1 a roll. Discontinued in 2018 when Fuji trimmed its C-41 range.
Atouts
+ Unbeatable price — the cheapest in Europe
+ Contrasty, saturated colors
+ Fine grain and good colors
Limites
− Discontinued — expired stock only
− Not an original emulsion — a Fuji rebrand
Vista Plus 200 was Europe's cheapest film for years — sold for £1 at Poundland UK, earning it a reputation as 'the people's film.' Its 2018 discontinuation caused a real shockwave in the film community. Its DX code was actually identical to the Fujicolor C200's, confirming it was the same emulsion repackaged.
