A limited-edition ISO 200 color film — co-developed by Adox with an outside partner (likely Inoviscoat) that went bankrupt shortly after the first production run. Stock kept refrigerated since coating. A distinctive palette: bright minty greens, peachy reds, airy grain. Strong contrast — narrower latitude than Kodak Gold or Fuji C200. No DX coding. Standard C-41. 36 exposures, 35mm. Proceeds fund R&D for a new Adox color emulsion.

Adox (founded 1860, relaunched in 2003 by Fotoimpex in Bad Saarow near Berlin) had never made a color film in its modern era — Color Mission is their first and, so far, only color film. Presented in February 2022 as an alternative to crowdfunding: 'instead of Kickstarter, we give you a real product.' The coating partner went bankrupt right after the first batch, leaving Adox with a limited stock. Adox is now developing its own coating machine in Bad Saarow for a future color film.
